Week 4

Hello and welcome to week 4! ( I went to check on week 4 and realized I hadn't published it! So I am publishing the draft a little late!)
This week yielded two more blocks and I like them alright. In the grand scheme of the quilt they work well.

Though not my favourite, Country Farm has a sort of simple charm to it. The white doesn't show well but it is a tonal. The same "lace" I used in week one's Steps to the Alter. It really adds some dimension to the block that I had a difficult time capturing.

Out of the blocks this week, Peace and Plenty is my top pick. Two of the points are a bit off and I will probably go back in and do some picking because I really like this block and if you're spending an entire year creating something you should be pleased with it.

It's about as busy as I can go with a block this size. But I think it works!

Here are the blocks hanging out together. They surprisingly work together although in the photos of them above it doesn't translate as well as when they are laid together.

Here are some of my favourites from weeks past playing well together with this week's. I am really enjoying the 'prints' and like the dimension they add. Looking forward to next week's creations, thanks for stopping in,
