It's Week 6! I had fun this week getting my blocks done however I didn't actually work on things until the last day. Finally my baby had a nap and the kids played outside in the sunshine with their awesome dad. They had so much fun and I think we are all so grateful for the hint of early Spring here on the island! It was so relaxing getting my blocks sewn and looking out the window at the kids playing in the sandbox while I pressed my blocks!
Here are my two blocks!
(First, my camera is semi-broken. When looking through the viewfinder you can't actually see what you're looking at so after the pictures are taken you can view them on the camera's screen. So this isn't the worst photo all things considered!) I wanted this block to be masculine, bold and a little sensitive. Grey and Polka Dots! BINGO!
This is my pick for this week. I tried to incorporate a fabric from past blocks with something new and unexpected, so I pulled the plaid and the numbers. The navy has been used before but in a different colorway.
How adorable is this combination?!
This is the stack of blocks I am accumulating! My favourite block, Silver Lane, on top.
Looking forward to week 7!
