LOVE my week 7 blocks!!!
The circular pattern reminded me of both the watermark left from a bowl that has been washed and set on the counter and also a design that you may find on a sugar bowl.
Wild Geese! I had small pieces of the navy fabrics and I REALLY wanted to use them in this block. It was a 'Get in where ya fit in" situation, and I am so pleased with the results!
YAY! I think every week these blocks get better! Look how nicely these blocks get along! I already feel like celebrating this quilt and I'm not even 1/3 of the way through!
I was so busy this week with quilting and finishing a beautiful Betty Bowler Bag that I use for a diaper bag. I'll have to make an effort to post about them. It's so hard finding time to sew AND take pictures AND blog about everything! Maybe my baby will have a real nap today and I will have a few minutes to take pictures in the yard, where the sun is shining and it is a true delight being outside! If not, I'm already looking forward to week 8!
