I cannot believe I've been making these blocks for 2 months now! I am learning so much and I have improved my sewing skills. I started back on my Joel Dewberry quilt, and I noticed I wasn't as precise as I am now in my piecing. I also had to unpick some seams and change some blocks around and I noticed I have improved in that regard as well! (I have unpicked a thousand stitches while making the farmer's wife blocks...)
Here are my week 8 blocks:

Bringing more green in! |
I really wanted Attic Window to look like what you might see in an attic, dark around the edges and then a ray of light shining through the bright window. I was so excited to finally have a place to use the coordinates fabric as it's one of my favourites!

Close up of those adorable coordinates! My points are improving! |
For Autumn tints I originally wanted to use autumn tones but it just looked wrong with all the colour options I laid out. I decided I needed more green in this quilt a while back and so used the green birds on wires as my inspiration for this block. It ended up a bit more like Spring, but I like the green it adds to the overall quilt top!
