I am still dutifully farming and will be posting pictures as soon as I can figure out how to upload them. For some reason my adobe won't update and I need it to add the block number and name. So! I do have them ready to go (4 in the last few weeks and just did broken dishes today) and hopefully will figure that out soon!
In the meantime, here's some unedited pictures of my daughter's Easter Dress bodice that I have been working on! It's all Michael Miller fabrics that I picked from fabric.com online without seeing and it was so exciting that when it all arrived it worked together. I am putting the skirt together after I finish the next block for this week so hopefully will have an adorable photo shoot to share soon.
This dress is the Georgia Vintage pattern from the Cottage Mama. |
A little overexposed. I told ya, no editing. |
The purple lattice fabric makes a skinny sash that ties in the back to make a tremendous bow. The peter pan collar puts it over the top! My boys will be wearing matching polka dot bowties. Which is corny but these are the years I can get away with that sort of thing... And I plan to capitalize!
I made this quilt for my grandmother's birthday and I have a shot of it in its entirety but its on my phone... So, not the nicest quality. The stippling on the border makes it crinkly and antiqued looking. The main pieces of the quilt are stitched in the ditch. For the first time I chose a contrasting thread for the binding, it's pink! The backing is a tiny pink and white gingham flannel. The fabrics were picked up from a trip in Florida visiting my husbands family.
Do you want to snuggle in there?! |
Some more overexposed photos for you :) |
I'll catch you soon with my 'harvest' from the last few weeks and this weeks!
